This network is a Michigan nonprofit corporation whose main purpose is to provide accountability for the credentialing and supervision of reformed biblical counselors, as well as provide opportunities to research causes and remedies for depression and other disabilities.
Members of this network either work with IRBC to establish biblical counseling centers in various locations, or join the corporation as an existing center. Those centers which join the network are called associate member counseling centers (AMCCs). Each AMCC is overseen by a conservative reformed congregation in order to provide general guidance for each respective counseling ministry, preserve its doctrinal purity, provide doctrinal protection for both counselors/counselees, and to provide continuity of ministry under the auspices of a God-ordained ecclesiastical authority structure.
