Some of the work required for this position can be done remotely, but a few hours of office time will be required, especially during certain parts of the year. One day (a couple hours) per week in the office would be needed.

Terms & Rate

AVg. of about 8 hrs. / week

rate: $15.00/hr.

requirements/skills

  • is Able to communicate well over the phone
  • has good organizational skills
  • grasps a basic understanding of computer technology (emails, microsoft word, etc.)
  • is able to be flexible in work hours when needed (some months are more time-intensive, such as april-June and August-september)
  • displays average typing skills
  • is teachable
  • has a heart for the purpose/passion of IRBC (see our passion/purpose HERE)
  • can establish and maintain somewhat reguLar work hours each week (e.g., 9a-11A M-W)
  • must sign the irbc CODE OF ETHICS
  • Administrative experience is preferred, but not required

responsibilities

general administrative tasks

  • Help the IRBC Director, Director's Assistant, and Director of Operations with administrative tasks as directed (emails, filing, answering phone calls, etc.)
